Every family has a story.  International adoption creates a unique type of family narrative, one that involves broader issues of politics, governments, and laws (not to mention lots and lots of paperwork). However, at its core, international adoption is about parents and children, and about how a particular child came to join a particular family – in a country far away from the child’s native land.
Meant to Be is a sample of the many stories on international adoption that exist in the world today.  The book explores the lives of 18 authors as they share the story of how their internationally-adopted children fit perfectly into their families. All proceeds from the sale of Meant to Be benefit OrphanCARE International, the humanitarian aid program of Dillon International.

Honor a Loved One, Help a Child
Honor your loved one on their birthday or for a special holiday with a gift to benefit an orphaned child.  For $30 you can help a child stay in school, assist with their daily care, or share in the cost of necessary medical care.  Your loved one will receive a card (see sample) notifying them of your gift (amount not included) and an orphanCare International brochure highlighting the projects their gift will serve.  This can be sent directly to the recipient or to you for giving.

is a collaboration by a Dillon adoptive mom with 17 other adoptive moms and includes over 500 recipes, kitchen & household tips plus adoption tips.  The international section includes recipes from Korea, China, Cambodia, Eastern Europe, and South America.
